What is Body Restoration Technique?

Body Restoration Technique (BRT), unlike Hormone Replacement Therapy, is a method of bringing the endocrine/hormone system into balance naturally. It does not involve giving a person hormones or medication. It uses the body's acupuncture points to rejuvenate and revitalize a person's hormones and endocrine glands.

What kinds of things do hormones do?

Our endocrine/hormone system is always trying to maintain a delicate balance and when one hormone is increased in one location, other hormones are decreased in another. Hormones play a very important role in our bodies to regulate blood sugar, temperature, menstrual cycle, storing fat, burning fat, controlling blood pressure and vitamin and mineral levels-- just to name a few. When there is an imbalance in the system it is possible to have more than one area affected.

What causes the hormones to become imbalanced?

The hormones in the body can easily become disturbed and confused by many factors. Chemicals in our environment look like hormones to our bodies. These imposters can block or cancel out good hormones or they can disrupt or alter the way that hormones work. These imposters are endocrine disruptors (EDs). They can enter cells just like an imposter who picks a lock and fools the security system. These EDs are an underlying cause of endocrine and hormone dysfunction.

BRT was designed to realign the communication between glands, restore hormone function and rid the negative effects of endocrine disruptors (EDs) introduced into our bodies. It brings the hormones and glands back to the condition they were in before being corrupted, when they worked for you instead of against you. External toxic exposure from various sources has put our gland systems into confusion. Our glands and hormones can't get anything done when they are confused!

How does Body Restoration Technique work?

Using pressure point therapy on specific locations on the back, hands and feet, Dr. Lewis utilizes the healing powers of your body to help neutralize the negative effects of endocrine disruptors (EDs). BRT is a bioenergetic technique that uses energy vials of the EDs to help restore balance to the tissues affected so proper function can return and reverse unwanted symptoms.
